The IIMV certificate programme in general management provides skills and tools for practitioners across cross-functional business domains such as Marketing, Human Resource Management, Operations, Entrepreneurship, Finance, Strategy, Information Technology Systems, and Quantitative Techniques. The EPGCPGM programme will enable you to accelerate your career across different management responsibilities and cultures. - Selections will be based on a detailed profile of the candidates, which should include their academic record, profile, designation, salary, roles, responsibilities, and job description.
- Applicants should submit a write-up on their ‘Expectations from the Programme.’ Applications without the write-up will not be accepted.
Eligibility & Selection
- Graduates (10+2+3) from a recognized university (UGC/AICTE/DEC/AIU/State Government/recognized international universities) in any discipline with a minimum of 01-year of work experience after graduation.
- Diploma holders are not eligible to apply.
About IIM Visakhapatnam
Indian Institute of Management Visakhapatnam (IIMV) belongs to the prestigious IIM family of business schools. It is a new generation IIM, set up by the Government of India in September 2015. - Students will be considered for the award of Post Graduate Certificate if they complete the minimum requirement of 16 credits. Further, the following criteria apply.
- CGPA of at least 1.50 in the programme.
- Excellent/Good/Satisfactory grade in the Capstone Project
- If participants fail to meet the above criteria, they will be awarded only the certificate of participation. The grade sheet will be awarded only if they meet the above criteria.

- Participants will be given exposure to a Project as part of the EPGCPGM. They will be guided step-by-step by IIM faculty members.
- A Project Leader (PL) will be chosen from among the students as may be identified by the group members. Before Module 5 instruction begins, the PL will notify the PE of the group’s specifics.
- Further, the Group Project will be graded on a scale of ‘Excellent’, ‘Good’, ‘Satisfactory’ and ‘Unsatisfactory’.
- Participants who successfully complete the program will be eligible for the Executive Alumni status of the Institute, provided the alumni fee is paid by the student as prescribed before the commencement of the program.
The pedagogy for the EPGCPGM includes:
- The program blends an interactive learning environment for working executives, future-focused teaching pedagogy and intellectual peer discussions.
- Students will get opportunities to attain workshop, work on capstone project related to the course, in order to gain a deeper understanding of the topics and to gain practical experience.
- Furthermore, the program will be taught online, with participants accessing instructor notes, data, and scripts.
- A final examination with multiple-choice questions will be administered.
- The course material is intended solely for the recipients and should not be distributed or shared elsewhere.
- Academic Honours are usually awarded to students who have maintained a high level of academic excellence.
- Top 10% of the students based on CGPA will be awarded a Certificate of Merit.
Note: Students who have been found guilty of adopting any unfair/ unethical means or violation of discipline will not be eligible for the award.
